This is the page to make requests for the splitting of an article into two or more separate articles.
This process is usually undertaken to keep articles from becoming too large or unfocused; but may also occur when an element of an existing article gains substantial notoriety in its own right. In such a case, requests for splitting-off said content from an existing article into a newer, stand-alone article, should be directed here.
