27-28. Overall Rating. Sugarloaf Ridge is amazing. Hiking is plentiful, from short easy hikes to killer mountain ones. A pleasant little creek runs through the campground much of the year, the park is exceedingly well-kept compared to many state parks in CA. Mid-week it was really quiet and we loved our stay.
