Peter David Schiff (/ʃɪf/; born March 23, 1963; nicknamed "Dr. Doom")[2][3][4] is an American stockbroker, financial commentator, and radio personality. He co-founded Echelon Wealth Partners in Canada (formerly Euro Pacific Canada).[5] He is involved in other financial services companies including Euro Pacific Asset Management, as an independent investment advisor,[6] and Schiff Gold (formerly Euro Pacific Precious Metals).[7] He predicted the 2008 financial crisis.
