foodpanda is an online food and grocery delivery platform owned by Berlin-based company Delivery Hero SE, which operates in about 50 countries across four continents.[1] Delivery Hero is headquartered in Berlin, Germany.

The service allows users to select from local merchants and place orders via its mobile applications and websites. foodpanda was acquired by Delivery Hero in early December 2016.[2]

Established in 2012, foodpanda now operates in more than 300 cities across the Asia Pacific, delivering meals and groceries. Delivery Hero announced in December 2020 that it would take control of South Korea’s biggest food delivery app, Woowa Brothers Corp., at a $4 billion valuation.[3]
